Friends of Lincoln provides community outreach, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities to the greater Portland community in the support of making Lincoln one of the nation’s premier high school experiences.

What we do

We are a non-profit organization sponsored and supported by parents, students, businesses, and alumni who have an interest in educational excellence and student support. Friends of Lincoln combines the roles and support activities previously delivered by the Lincoln Boosters, PTSO and Foundation into one unified support system for the broader Lincoln High School community. Friends of Lincoln is a mix of parents and alumni Board Members to manage responsibilities and assist Principal Chapman with raising much needed funding and allocating in the best interest of the Lincoln HS community. Teams include Athletic Support, Classroom Support, Clubs & Activities, Finance, Fundraising, Communications, Major Donor Relationships, Teacher/Staff Support. Have questions? Where do we provide support?

Friends of Lincoln provides financial support for interscholastic athletics, club sports teams, academic clubs and teams, music and arts, and other extra-curricular activities. This includes improvements to the campus and on grounds maintenance through our campus clean up events, upgrades to the auditorium sound system, renovations, assistance with fees, and more.
